July 2012 Update

Dear Friends and Family,

We hope you’re having a great summer. Things are going great for us and for Gospel Projects International, and we are thrilled to share with you about how God is expanding our territory and opening up new opportunities for ministry.

Bibles for Costa Rica!

Our mission trip to Costa Rica is coming up quick! We are taking a team of nine people from our church in Hood River, Oregon, to Costa Rica on July 26th. The main reason we are going on this outreach is to help with a large Bible distribution project that has a goal of distributing a Bible to every home in Costa Rica. Specifically, we will distribute Bibles in the small town of Orosi. We also plan to serve on street ministry teams (ministering to the prostitutes and homeless in the capital city of San Jose) and help with children’s outreach programs. This is exciting for us because it’s the first group mission trip that we are leading together. Please remember to keep us (and the rest of the team) in your prayers while we are on this outreach.

A full month of June…

On a personal note, June was a very busy month for us. First of all, we were a part of two weddings this month. Josh’s sister, Christi, was married to a great guy named Trae, and Josh’s brother, Daniel, was married to an awesome girl from our home town. We were very involved with both of these weddings… Josh was especially honored to be the best man in Daniel’s wedding, and Anna had the opportunity to lead worship at both of the ceremonies. We were also blessed to move into a new home this month. We had been living in a 200 sq. ft. cottage that Josh and his dad built, but now we moved into an 800 sq. ft. house. This is an answer to prayer for us, and we’re very excited to have a little more space.

Our ministry in India is doing very well. Our National Ministers continue to win souls for Jesus during their village outreaches, and we are busy getting all prepared to restart our Bible School in the fall. The children we care for at Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home are doing great. It’s such an honor to help give these precious children a home, where they feel loved and cared for. Many of the children have shared with us about their dreams for the future, and it’s exciting to see them grow up and start to pursue those dreams. We are so thankful to be able to help these precious children.

Thanks so much for helping to reach the lost and hurting people of this world and for helping to fulfill the Great Commission. We appreciate you so much!

Yours in Christ,
Josh and Anna Dunagan
