Merry Christmas Everyone!

Christmas time is such a wonderful time of year when we can celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! He is the reason for the season, and we are so honored to be able to help share this good news with others around the world!

“ For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9:6

Great Outreaches to India and Nepal

This last month we sent out two teams on international mission-outreaches. The trips went very well and we are happy to share some highlights with you! Please see below to read about some of our trip highlights. We cannot express our gratitude enough for all your encouraging notes, words, and prayers. Thanks for coming alongside us to help reach people around the world all for the Glory of God. Together, we are expanding God’s Kingdom and making a difference in this world. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas Season!

Highlights from the Nepal Outreach!

Thanks so much for sending us to Nepal this month! I (Josh) traveled on this outreach with my brother Mark and we are so happy to share some highlights with you.
In Nepal we traveled to the building site where we are currently working on construction for a new children’s home. The process has been very slow due to government regulations, but it looks like we are just about ready to continue building. Our goal is to start caring for children in 2017 and we will share more about this in the upcoming months.

After that we traveled to a remote village in the Himalayan Mountains and organized a several-day outreach where we held a pastor’s conference, shared the Gospel, and distributed 200 warm winter blankets to the villagers. The people were very receptive to the Gospel and even though they were very poor, they were very hospitable to us. It was also great to spend some time with my younger brother, Mark. I could not ask for a better ministry companion, and it is inspiring for me to see the great heart that Mark has for the Lord. Mark is currently finishing up his final semester at Christ for the Nations Bible College and is wanting to continue missions work after school.

Overall the trip was a total success. There are so many needs and so many opportunities it is almost hard to know what projects to focus on. We will continue to keep Nepal in our prayers and seek God for direction concerning GPI’s future involvement in this needy country. Thanks so much for your prayers, God bless!

Updates from Aasha Children’s Home!

Several weeks ago we (Daniel and Anna-Louise Dunagan) had the wonderful opportunity to visit Aasha Children’s Home in India. We were thrilled to be able to see firsthand what God is doing through Gospel Projects and everyone who supports Josh and Anna’s vision for the kids at the Orphanage. We are so thankful for your prayerful support as we travelled and ministered there in South Eastern India and are excited to share a few highlights of our trip there.

The third story expansion of the orphanage is completed and we were honored to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication while we were there. Thank you to everyone who generously gave for this project; the kids and everyone who cares for them are quite thrilled to have the added space. We also had the opportunity to speak at a handful of local churches and were continuously met with a love for Christ as vibrant as their culture. One of those churches was the new church building that has been undergoing construction for the past year, and is finally finished. A dedication for the church building was held and appropriately named the Neleaturu Light House Church. Though we weren’t able to understand everything they said due to the language barrier, their thankful tears showed an immense amount of gratitude for their new building and are very grateful to everyone who gave financially and prayed for the construction of this building.

Thank you again for all of your prayers, we truly enjoyed our trip and the chance to get to know and play with the children there.
