Caring for Orphans

Giving Hope to Orphan Children

What We Do

At Gospel Projects International we are passionate about demonstrating the love of Christ by taking in orphan children off the streets, place them in a home environment, and care for their physical and spiritual needs. Our goal is to give HOPE to these precious children, and raise them up to be men and women of God.

Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home

In January, 2011, Gospel Projects International started its first orphanage called Aasha Children’s Home. “Aasha” is the Telugu word for “Hope” – and that is our prayer for this orphanage; that these children would experience the Hope of Jesus Christ. Currently Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home cares for 55 children.

In addition to the children at Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home, we are also providing care and support for four children who have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. We want to demonstrate the love of Jesus to these kids, and show them that God loves them even in the midst of their horrible diagnosis. To protect the other children, these four orphans are staying in separate Christian homes. Please keep these children in your prayers and agree with us for their healing.

Himalaya Daya Rescue Home

In the fall of 2018, we joined up with Jon & Ann Dunagan from Harvest Ministry to start a rescue home for orphan children. Currently, we have a sweet couple who stay with 11 children at the rescue home and take care of all the children’s needs.

Our goal is not only to care for the physical needs of the children, but also (and even more importantly) to raise them up to be strong in the Lord. Many of these children did not grow up in Christian homes, and we are happy to share that these kids love the Lord!

“Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble…” (James 1:27)
