Thanks for keeping us in your prayers as we’ve been away on this multi-stop mission trip. We had a powerful outreach and we’re happy to share a few of the highlights (and some of the challenges) with you.

Wonderful time of ministry in Ireland…

We teamed up with Josh’s parents (Jon & Ann Dunagan) and traveled all around Ireland ministering in churches and encouraging the believers about the importance of raising a godly family. We also challenged people to have a heart for world missions. It was a joyful trip and a wonderful opportunity for ministry. Some of the highlights were:

  • Meeting great Christian people and seeing what God is doing in Ireland.
  • Having the unique experience of ministering in Ireland – a very modern country that is in great need of the Gospel (less than 1% are Bible-believing Christians).
  • Preaching in many churches and encouraging them about the importance of building a godly heritage. We especially focused on ministering to the youth and young adults. We even shared in an old church that John Wesley dedicated many years ago!

Adventure in India!

After the ministry time in Ireland Josh took off on an exciting mission to India (Anna stayed in Ireland during this time and helped with music ministry, served on a 27 hour shift in a Teen-Challenge rehab center, and connected with Victory Church in Dublin, Ireland). Josh’s ministry time in India went very well, but there were some hardships.

The biggest challenge was that on the last night of the India outreach Josh got VERY sick and spent the whole night throwing up and having horrible diarrhea (probably caused from food poisoning). Then, after a night without sleep and still feeling terrible, Josh had to start the long 38 hour journey back to Ireland to meet up with Anna. It was miserable traveling though the airports in this condition. Much of the time was spent kneeling down in front of stinky Indian toilets waiting to throw up again. It was not a fun experience. Josh started feeling better after about 24 hours, but it was definitely the hardest traveling experience he’s ever had.

Even so, the highlights of the trip made it all worthwhile. During this outreach Josh was able to visit Aasha “Hope” Children’s Home, share the Gospel in over 17 village outreaches, had a baptism service for new believers, and brought over video projector equipment to show the JESUS film. The biggest highlight of the trip was celebrating our first graduation ceremony for our International Bible School in India. It was such a special and joyful time!

Praise God for the harvest! There’s much more to tell and we’ll share more with you next month. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers. God bless you!
